Vedson replacement guarantee policy assists buyers who have been defrauded by qualified sellers on the Vedson Platform. Return/Replacement policy period depends on the product category, seller and on the product detail page which is mentioned. If at the time of delivery or within the applicable return policy period mentioned on product page if any defect/damage/wrong product is found then the buyer of the product/s can ask for the replacement of the product/s from the seller and seller is liable to do replacement subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. Inform the seller/on www.vedson.in or vedson platform regarding any defects in the product at the time of delivery or within the applicable return/replacement policy period and the same product will be replace in return of the defective product/s. Replacement can be for the entire product/s or part/s of the products subject to the availability with the seller.

Whenever a customer contacts their bank or credit card company to dispute the charge for an order that they placed on Vedson website. Chargebacks are also known as charge disputes and reversals and they can be filed for a variety of reasons, including unauthorized use of the credit card. But common reasons for the disputes includes as below: a) The card holder does not received the product/service and refund will be created in accordance with the dispute policies – Item not received Chargeback. b) The card holder credit card was stolen and or used without the consent – Unauthorized Chargeback. c) Card holder feels that the product or service was defective, damaged or not as described – Item not as described. For chargeback buyer has to contact the bank or credit card company. The bank or credit card company decides the outcome of a chargeback and not Vedson. Seller is liable for all chargeback. Seller must provide Vedson the information and documents listed below and any other documents or evidence Vedson request withing 5 days of the email notification date so that we can verify and reply to the bank. 1) Proof of delivery 2) Order shipped date 3) Tracking number (if applicable) 4) Shipping address 5) Whether the products sold were physical goods or services.

 

If seller want to dispute to charge back than seller must send us email regarding the same with all proofs on chargeback@vedson.in

If seller want to choose to accept the chargeback than seller need to send us email mentioned that seller agree that the amount will be debited from seller account. If seller donot respond to the email within 5 days we will debit your seller account for the chargeback amount by default. Seller must give below details to vedson, so that vedson will send all the information for chargeback to bank or credit card company in case of chargeback by buyer. • The status of the transaction • A description of the product or service • Proof that the item or service was received by the cardholder • Order confirmation emails • Details of any changes to, refund or cancelation of an order • Tracking number • System or usage logs for digitally downloaded goods • Photos of the item • A description of the product • A copy of your refund and return policies or product page screenshot • Customer communication records

Dispute can be defined as a disagreement between a buyer and a seller in connection with a transaction on the platform. 2)How does a ‘dispute’ occur in the Marketplace? Disputes are filed as a result of a disagreement between the Buyer and the Seller. If an issue that is raised by either party not being completely satisfied with the resolution of their complaint/issue than disputes arises. It is important that before a buyer/seller raises a dispute, they should attempt to solve the issue. Please note that whenever a buyer raises a dispute, the seller’s payment for that order is put on hold immediately until the issue is resolved. 3)How is a ‘dispute’ created? Whenever there is a disagreement, the buyer can write to dispute@vedson.in, while the seller can write to sellersupport@vedson.in, in order to raise a dispute. Disputes can be raised at a particular transaction level. 4)What are the various types of ‘disputes’? Following are the indicative examples of disputes: a) Wrong item received. b) Item not as described. c) Damaged Product. d) Seal Broken of product. e) Part/Accessory missing. f) Item not compatible. g) Product is not as per Seller Description. h) Defective (Functional issues). i) Product not working and manufacturer claims invalid invoice. In case the seller rejects the return request of the buyer, and buyer raises a dispute, then vedson will try to mediate and resolve the dispute between both the parties. If the dispute is resolved in favor of the buyer than a refund is provided once the product is returned to the Seller, Seller checks the quality and seller gives refund approval. If the dispute is settled in favor of the seller buyer is not entitled to any refund, and buyer also cannot ask their banks to do the chargebacks from the card from our account.

In case of a dispute where the seller is unable to provide a refund or a replacement to the buyer, Vedson will work towards reaching a resolution of the dispute and help buyer to get the fair resolution. Un till the resolution amount of the order will be with Vedson only which will safeguard the buyers interest.

The Buyer Protection Program covers Buyers who are unable to successfully resolve their dispute with the seller or are not satisfied with the resolution provided by the seller. If the issue with the seller is not resolved than the buyer can again write within 1 day to resolution@vedson.in for their unsatisfied dispute resolution provide by the seller. Vedson’s customer support team will look into the case to check for possible fraud and if the buyer has been blacklisted/blocked from making purchase on the platform. Only after verifying these facts, buyers dispute can be registered.

To come to a resolution, Vedson Customer Support team will facilitate a conference call including the seller and buyer if vedson customer support feels to do that and if required only.

When a dispute has been raised by seller or buyer, Vedson may provide both the parties details to each other like display names, contact details, business details, email address and any other details which is required or which vedson want to give only regarding to the dispute. Buyers and sellers are subject to final consent from Vedson for settling the dispute between buyer and seller.

Untill the dispute is resolved amount of the order will be with Vedson only, Vedson will not transfer the order amount to the seller until the dispute is resolved.

If resolution is in buyer side than vedson will refund the order amount on behalf of the seller. And if resolution is in seller side than vedson will give order amount to the seller and buyer cannot avail refund for that product.

Only the buyers who have purchased the product on Vedson are eligible for the buyer protection program. Buyer can file a dispute within 2 days from the date of resolution given by the seller if buyer is not satisfied with the sellers resolution. Any damage or loss to the product after delivery will not be covered under this program and will completely be the buyer’s responsibility. If buyer gets damaged product that buyer should refuse to accept the delivery.

To get the advantage of the buyers protection program, buyers should first contact the seller and attempt to resolve the issue. If the buyer doesn’t hear from the seller or is unable to resolve the issue with the seller even after contacting the seller, a dispute can be raised with Vedson by writing an email to resolution@vedson.in and in Subject Line write – “(Order number) Unsatisfied with the resolution by the buyer” and in Message you can write your queries.

Fraudulent charges and claims are not covered under buyer protection program.

Blacklisted and blocked buyers are not covered by the buyer protection program.

If the buyer has already initiated chargeback through the credit card issuing bank, it will not be covered under buyer protection program, though in such cases a seller can file a claim through the seller protection program.

In the buyer protection program Vedson does not provide any guarantee/warranty to buyers for products sold on Vedson against any technical or manufacturing defects.

Buyer can make a maximum 4 claims per year on Vedson. If the claim was withdrawn by the buyer than it is not counted. The coverage amount will be limited to Rs 50000.

Vedson shall at no point be responsible for any direct or indirect losses, expenses, costs of any nature whatsoever that may be incurred by any buyer or seller.

If buyer is raising disputes against sellers it does not mean that automatically buyer is entitle to a refund or replacement for the product purchased. Vedson will verify the disputes raised by the buyer and may process only such claims that are valid and genuine.

Claims of the nature of ‘Buyer remorse’ (i.e instances where products are bought by the buyer by mistake or where the buyer chooses to change his/her mind with regard to the product purchased by buyer) will not be entertained through this program.

Decision made by Vedson under the Buyer Protection Program shall be final and binding on its users buyer or seller both.

Vedson reserves its rights to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against a user who files an invalid and/or false claims or provides false, incomplete, or misleading information. In addition to the legal proceeding as aforesaid, Vedson may at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the display name and other related details of such user and/or disqualify that user and any related users from availing the buyer protection through this program.

Vedson reserves the right to modify/discontinue buyer protection program without any prior notice period to its users.

Buyer is not entertained for any claims who have incurred loss die to delayed shipment or delivery of the item by the seller, Vedson will not register any dispute regarding to this nor entertain due to this reason.

Vedson customer support team may ask for additional information/clarification from the buyer to facilitate resolution of the dispute. If buyer does not respond with the information/clarification within 2 days of such request the dispute shall be autoclosed in favour of the seller.
